PHASE 1
JULY 2024 - NOVEMBER 2024
Project Start Up + Visioning. Includes the project kickoff, community interviews and public open houses. The goal of the first phase is to identify challenges, opportunities, and values in Henderson.
PHASE 2
NOVEMBER 2024 - JUNE 2025
Confirming the Vision. The community will be asked to confirm or revise the current Henderson Strong Vision. Building upon the vision, the project team will workshop a revised Future Land Use Map that works toward the City's vision for the future. Additionally, preliminary goals and stragies will be identified.
PHASE 3
JUNE 2025 - DECEMBER 2025
Plan Development + Review. During this phase, the project team will assemble an innovative, streamlined, and graphically appealing Comprehensive Plan that is concise, user-friendly, easily navigable, and accessible to the public. There will be two (2) draft plan review events where the public will weight in and celebrate the community process and comment on the Draft Comprehensive Plan.
